IQOS HEETS Silver sticks have refreshing notes. Many customers ask about the composition of the HEETS cigarette cartridges. So we asked the manufacturer directly via email and published their full answer, which pretty much copies our original article from foreign sources.
Refreshing notes are felt in the new mix.

The packaging is made in silver and white colors. The appearance of the sticks repeats its predecessors: the same three stripes with different color saturation. There are glued tobacco strips inside the stick.
The biopolymer film filter (folded film in the filter chamber) consists of polylactic acid, one of the most widely used biopolymers worldwide. Obtained from sugar cane or starch, it removes excess water vapor from the aerosol, lowering it as usable by Philip Morris International (PMI). IQOS HEETS Silver tests did not determine that harmful substances were released from the biopolymer film.

The filter mouthpiece is cellulose acetate, similar to a filter on a cigarette. The hose, the polymer film filter and the tobacco stopper are packed in refill paper and attached to the filter mouthpiece with a paper tipper.
The tobacco filling was developed directly for IQOS HEETS Silver sticks and made from a selected blend of real tobacco. IQOS copies many sensory and ritual aspects of smoking, but uses heating, not combustion. It should not be used at the same time as smoking cigarettes. Average usage time is about the same as smoking a cigarette, but tobacco refills are not cigarettes and do not ignite with matches or a lighter.

Since tobacco only heats up and does not burn, IQOS HEETS Silver sticks do not produce smoke, but rather by heating it creates aerosol by evaporation of water, glycerine and nicotine with the true taste of tobacco without fire, ash, cigarette smoke and with less odor. Glycerin is used in many consumer goods (food, medicine and cosmetics) and is on the list of approved European food ingredients. It has also been approved by health authorities for inhalation products.
